Tickets will be distributed starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the Schine Box Office.

Syracuse University students will have the opportunity to travel to Indianapolis by bus for free to see the women’s Final Four game in Indianapolis on Sunday.

The Student Association-sponsored bus will leave from the Schine Student Center on Saturday at 8 a.m. to drive to Indianapolis, according to an email sent to the student body from SA President Aysha Seedat.

Students can get a free ticket from the Schine Box Office to reserve a seat on the bus starting Thursday at 5 p.m. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students should be prepared to show their SUID and Final Four ticket receipt from the NCAA upon receiving a ticket, according to the email.

SA also reserved a hotel block for students who need hotel accommodations, according to the email. Students will be responsible for the $89 per night expense. The rooms can be split by four students.

The buses’ return to SU will depend on the women’s team’s standing in the tournament. The buses will have outlets, WiFi and restrooms.

SA, in partnership with the Division of Students Affairs, made the announcement about the bus to the women’s game on Twitter two days after it announced that it would send three buses to the men’s Final Four game in Houston on Saturday.

Hundreds of students lined up in the Schine Student Center on Wednesday morning for 165 bus tickets to the men’s game. Some students arrived outside Schine as early as 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday to get tickets, which were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
